NJSHS Student of the Month – September 2012
Kris. Hill
Kris was recognized for his Citizenship, Character, Service, Responsibility, Courtesy, and Respect.  He is a Senior Class Officer
, Student Council, 
NHS—Clean & Prepare, church camp, tutor after school, and involved in Relay for Life.
Mr. Metzger asked Kris the following questions:
1. What is your favorite subject? Math
2. Who is your favorite teacher? Why? Mr. Wilson He is an excellent teacher, everybody understands and always pushing us to get better so we can pass.
3. What do you like about NJSHS? Smaller school, know everybody but still able to keep up with technology
4. What do you like to do for fun? Reading, video games and hanging out with friends
5. What do you want to be when you graduate? Attend college and major in history, math or engineering
Kerri Kircher-Pal Item Athlete of the week
Grade: Senior
Sport: Volleyball
Kircher made 13 kills in the opening round and another 10 in the championship match to help Northeastern win the Union City Invitational as the Knights defeated Hagerstown and Union on their way to the tournament title.
